In 1987, a passionate group of tractor enthusiasts united their shared love for vintage and classic tractors by establishing the Cornish Tractor Club. The founders, including Hedley James, his brother George, David Cowling, Paul Stephens, and Basil Worden, pooled their resources to kick-start the club's operations. With a commitment to organising exciting events for fellow tractor enthusiasts, the Cornish Tractor Club was born.
The club has organised over 35 rallies, working weekends, road runs and outings since then.
Every year the club organises our main event, the vintage rally and country fair.
With multiple different attractions,
such as Tractor displays, Thomas Rowland's funfare, Craft and Trade stands and much, much more!
Throughout the year, the club organises various roud runs, with a variety of locations around the country, the roadruns are greatly community spirted and hence great events!
A few a year, our working weekends give you a chance to get your machinery out and show it off within the field!
With the marquee set up and the food cooking, use the oppotunity to socialise with others in the club!
Every year, the annual CTC Quiz Night is organised, consisting a range of rounds, with 10 questions each.
The event is a great social event, create a team and answer your way up the leaderboard!
Throughout the year, we organise film evenings, a chance to get together as a club, watch some films and off course, grab some refreshments!
This event is often hosted at Cornwall Farm Machinery, Trispen.
