2026 Rally Featured

We're looking forward to next year's rally, and what the featured tractor might be. There's only one it can be, really. 100 years ago this year Harry Ferguson applied for what is now known as the Master Patent, that of a 3 point linkage for tractors operated by 'electrical, mechanical or fluid control', and in 1926 that was granted in favour of the hydraulic system, so beginning the transformation of agriculture that would culminate in arguably the most important tractor ever produced, the Ferguson Model A, or Ferguson-Brown, which will celebrate it's 90th anniversary in 2026. As if that wasn't enough, 2026 will also see the 80th anniversary of the Ferguson TE20 - the little grey Fergie - so I'm setting an ambitious target of 80 wee greys in the ring at our rally in June. TEF, TED, TEA, TEK/L, P3, FE35 - doesn't matter which. Fergie-Brown if you've got one, 9N, 2N, even the 8N (the one Henry Ford built after he reneged on that famous handshake) - in fact the more variants the better. Not only that, but there was a whole range of Ferguson implements specifically designed for it as well. There's a challenge for you.
